Black and white mini-series of four half-hour episodes, starring
Sean Guinan and Bill Caploe, with John Nygro, Sarah Gee and Steve
Peavler. Photographed by Joshua Eckhardt, this experimental
work was completely unscripted...improvised by the actors involved,
whose broad performances are accentuated by their painted faces.
The musical numbers, representing the less chaotic material in the program,
feature recordings from the 1920s, with lipsynch performances by Jacquelyn Denning
and Sean Guinan.
Faces won Runner-Up in the "experimental" category of the 1996 Hometown Video Festival.
